10 Commandments

These moronic Republicans are trying to pass a bill to allow the posting of the 10 commandments in schools while we have a treasonous scumbag in the White House visiting destruction on some poor little country in Europe and the Demoncrats are trying to repeal the 2nd amendment. So, let's have a look at the commandments.

1. I am the Lord thy God, who brought you out of the house of bondage.

2. Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

3. Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain."

4. Remember the Sabbath day and keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labor.

5. Honor thy father and thy mother.

6. Thou shalt not kill.

7. Thou shalt not commit adultery.

8. Thou shalt not steal.

9. Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.

10.Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's house, wife, manservant, ox, as, etc, etc., etc.

Okay, the first 5 are completely outside the realm of government. The first 4 are so totally and obviously religious that they have no place in any government building including public schools and courtrooms. The 2nd particularly is something I would hate to see on the wall behind a judge who would be deciding the fate of any citizen. The 6th is law everywhere. The 7th is between a man and his wife. The 8th is law everywhere except in Washington DC. The 9th is law everywhere except in the White House. And the 10th is silly if not evil. It establishes a thought crime. 3 out of the 10 fall into the realm of government. The rest are either guidelines on how to behave, religious gobbledygook or just plain stupid. Way to go Republicans! I'm sure glad we have you there in DC fighting for America.
