Yeah, Hillary, like a certain Buddhist temple? How about Johnny Chung, James Riady and the selling of satellite, missile and nuclear technology to Red China for campaign cash? Or, the recent indictment of your finance chairman? Or, pardons for votes and campaign funds?
We have Hillary feigning concern about election ethics during the electoral certification while, in the Alberto Gonzalez confirmation hearings, Wet Teddy Kennedy, the swimmer, is deeply concerned about water-boarding; an interrogation technique where the subject believes he will be drowned?!? He actually said, “…that drowning someone to that kind of a point would come awfully close to getting over the border” Is it, “over the border” yet if you leave someone at the bottom of a river in your car for 10 hours so you can pass the breathalyzer test?
Speaking of Gonzalez, wasn’t there another “attorney general/Gonzalez” scandal a while back? Oh yeah, Attorney General Janet Reno kidnapped a 6 year old boy, by that name, at machine-gun point to ship him off to a commie island gulag. I don’t recall any outrage from Leaky Leahy, Wet Teddy, Joe Biden, the ACLU and Amnesty International at the time.
The Dems seem to have let the main lesson of their recent trouncing slip by – they no longer control all media. The people will be reminded of Hillary’s and Wet Teddy’s above comments at the appropriate point by talk radio, internet bloggers, Fox News and some future equivalent of the great Swift Boat Vets. In Massachusetts, of course, it won’t matter. Those idiots would send Wet Teddy back to the senate if he pissed a quart of Johnny Walker Red right down their mother’s throat. But, Hillary will be laughed right off the national stage.
If the Dems continue to provide such comedy, it promises to be a slapstickin’, pratfallin’ laugh-a-minute 2005!
