Christian Disses Commie; Left Goes Nuts.

The Leftist kooks are apoplectic over Pat Robertson’s comments where he advocated the assassination of Venezuelan banana dictator, Hugo Chavez. They get a twofer here. First, the victim, Chavez, is a rabid Marxist and so naturally, is destroying his nation’s economy. For reasons puzzling to modern science, Leftists get big shiny hard-ons when contemplating the mass starvations caused by the wacky policies implemented in commie regimes like Cambodia and Hawaii, and anxiously await this result in our own hemisphere. And, second, the perp, Robertson is a hated, rightwing evangelist. Ever since the traitor Kerry’s defeat at the hands of a Christian, was attributed to, “values voters”, the nutso Left has been consumed with the paranoid fear that the country is being taken over by “Dominionist” zealots who have such nefarious designs on the nation as sexual abstinence for teens, opposition to men marrying men and voting Republican. Apparently they’re not content getting the votes of the felon, illegal alien, druggy, welfare client, utopian nihilist, union thug, sexual deviate, government worker, pacifist dreamer and traitor bloc. They think they should get the religious vote too.
Anyway, the occasion of an influential Christian advocating the murder of a communist dictator is tailor-made for Leftist hysteria. It’s just too bad Chavez wasn’t holding a dismembered baby at the time, or that Robertson wasn’t wearing a flag pin. They would have all keeled over with heart attacks at the sheer pathos.
How do I know that it is only the players involved that drives the Leftist outrage? Because, in 1997, when the former senior Clinton advisor, George Stephanopoulos, in far more than one, off-the-cuff remark, used a Newsweek column to advocate the assassination of Saddam Hussein, these same people were completely silent. In fact, George W. Bush attempted to use the exact tactic suggested by Stephanopoulos to avoid a war when he launched missiles at a suspected Hussein location. They went nuts.
The entertainment never ends with these people.
