Christian jihadists?
So, Madonna, aided and abetted by NBC (Never-ending Bashing of Christians), is about to blaspheme the Lord by hanging herself on a cross? In light of recent demonstrations by the "religion of peace," how will Christians react to this? For a sneak preview, let's a take trip into the mind of Rosie O'Donnell (who believes radical Christianity is as big a threat as radical Islam) and find out:
Today, thousands of Christians descended on NBC studios in Burbank, California, to show their anger at last night's presentation of Madonna on her "Confessions" concert tour. The demonstration began as peaceful but quickly became violent as many in the belligerent mob could not contain their anger. Some were seen burning effigies of Madonna, throwing rocks at the main studio building, and assaulting NBC employees as they made their way to work. However, things took a turn for the worst after two of the rioters managed to break into the front office and detonate a small bomb inside the building. Twelve people were killed instantly, including four women and three children, along with the bombers themselves. Authorities are calling this an act of terrorism. In all, about 120 people were arrested.
Violent demonstrations also erupted at nearby synagogues and Jewish community centers as Christians blamed Jews for the alleged powerful influence within Hollywood. Some Christians were carrying signs "Death to Jews" and "Jews killed Christ." Others were seen throwing beer bottles and rocks at the buildings. There were unconfirmed reports that a rabbi was the victim of an abduction by several Christians. A website that sprung up shortly thereafter is demanding that NBC apologize for the airing of the Madonna concert or the kidnappers will kill the rabbi.
Christian leaders around America blamed NBC and Madonna for fanning the flames of anger, insulting the sensibilities of Christians by blaspheming Jesus Christ. "People must realize the repercussions of insulting Christianity. It is not something that we take lightly," said one leader who agreed to be interviewed. "Priests and ministers across the country are telling their congregations to wage holy war against Hollywood and the Jews for their continual mockery of Jesus and Christianity. We believe in freedom of speech, but speech must be limited by what the Bible says is appropriate," he went on to say.
If the above scenario sounds absolutely ludicrous, then just substitute the following words and reread it:
Jesus =
Muhammad
Christianity = Islam
Christians = Muslims
Priests and ministers = imams and clerics
Bible = Quran
There, now it sounds familiar.
