Double Negative

Here's a column where Jimmeh Carter slams Rummy as Secretary of Defense. Now, it would never do to mention that Jimmy Carter was the chief of the most incompetent administration in American history and that his secretary of defense, Harold Brown , was a naive, flower child singing Kumbayah in the face of dire national threats. No this would just not be fair!
But I just can't resist
making note of the delicious irony of one of our worst presidents saying that
Rummy is one of our worst Secretaries of Defense! Doesn’t the double
negative trend toward Rummy’s favor?
