Associated Press Translates "Devil" to "God"

This article I found on Yahoo "news" from the Associated Press has cheerleaders for the release of an Islamic terrorist shouting, "God is great!" Now, aside from the main issue of how an Islamic terrorist is released, ever, I am wondering - did these Indonesians shout, "God is great!" in English? My strong suspicion is that they shouted, "Allahu akbar" which means "Allah is great." So, my question is, is the associated press reporter, Robin McDowell, a Moslem? Why would he take it upon himself to translate, to the ignorant rubes of the world, "Allah" as "God?"
Anyone who has the least understanding of the nature of the psychotic founder of Islam, or of the demented precepts of the "religion" that he instituted would know that Allah is the exact same creature that the Christian world knows as Satan.
So, why would an AP reporter take the liberty to sugarcoat the deity of this vile death-cult in such a way, especially when the chant of, "Allahu akbar", is being voiced in support of a known terrorist? He could have translated the chant as "Allah is great." But, he didn't. He automatically converted "Allah" into "God", as if Christians, Jews and Moslems worshipped the exact same being.
This is just another example of the suicidal nihilism of the Left. They do it instinctively and unconsciously. Anything that will contribute to the annihilation of their own civilization will be elevated and embraced. I am certain that he never, for one second questioned that the loathsome creature worshipped by Moslems, whose worship has locked the Islamic world into tyranny, destitution and enslavement, is separate, distinct and opposite from the God that has elevated the Christian world to the heights of learning, prosperity and individual freedom.
In fact, as a good Leftist, he probably prefers the former to the latter.
