Leftists and Liberals

Normally we think of Leftists and Liberals as synonymic. However, when we speak
of politically savvy power-crazed megalomaniacs we usually qualify the statement
by saying that we’re only talking about the Democrat Party’s leadership, not the
typical Democrat voter. And, when we talk about well-intentioned but politically
ignorant or misled, idealistic and immature individuals we qualify our statement
by pointing out that those we are speaking of are your typical Democrat voters,
not the Democrat Party’s leadership.
Based on these qualifications, I separate the Leftist from the Liberal - those
in power and those who empower them. Leftists will say and do anything to
satiate their lust for power, and then spit in the faces of those who empowered
them. However, they are clever enough to disguise their spit so the people don’t
feel it dripping down their cheeks. The Liberals, who are incapable of admitting
they made a mistake and so are eternally pointing their fingers at others, are
all too willing to accept the excuses of the Leftists. But why would the
well-meaning Liberal empower a power-hungry megalomaniac in the first place? To
understand that, first look at why the Leftists court the Liberals.
Historically, the tactic of the Left has been to create a doom and gloom
scenario, and then convince people that only they can save the world from this
evil. Typical examples are nuclear war or nuclear winter, an impending ice age,
global warming, encroaching Capitalism and evil corporations, destruction of the
rain forests, desertification, and school lunches (if we cut out, or even cut
back, on the school lunch program every child in America will starve to death).
In order to accomplish this end, the Leftist clearly needs a hate group that
they can blame for their evil du jour. Hitler had his Jews, Marx his Bolsheviks,
and Hillary Clinton her “vast right ring conspiracy.” (You might ask how I can
put Hillary in the same group as Hitler and Marx, but I don’t. She put herself
there with her college thesis paper on how to overthrow America by creating a
hate group to distract the people from the real enemy – her, or whoever the
power-crazed megalomaniac might be.)
Therefore, the Leftist needs politically naïve, historically ignorant,
idealistic and easily misled masses in order to fool them into supporting him.
This requires first, indoctrination in the educational system – only allowing
politically correct information and mis-facts, or state propaganda to be taught.
Second: the replacement of the concept of God with that of the State. Third: the
legitimization of the confiscation of guns by making guns sound like the cause
of all crimes. And of course, the creation of the hate group to distract people
from what’s really going on. Does any of this sound familiar?
Now, the Liberal wants everything to be fair, everyone to get along, and
everybody to be happy. Their views of the world are invariably
self-contradictory because of their naiveté. For example, in order to enforce
fairness a huge and all-powerful government would be required. At the same time,
the Liberal wants government to be good and solve all their personal problems.
But what governments have ever been good, let alone any all-powerful one?
Another example is their hatred of the wealthy, and their love for the very
people that epitomize the worst characteristics of the wealthy (the Hollywood
Left and the Kennedy’s, Kerry’s, etc.). The self-contradictions of the Liberals
are endless, and is another subject altogether.
The Leftist appeals to these Liberal desires by promising solutions. A great
example is Bill Clinton in 1992 when he promised to have the cleanest
administration in history, clean out the lobbyists from government, and tax only
the wealthiest 2%. All of these promises appeal to the Liberal’s deep desire for
fairness and good government, and their disdain towards the evil Capitalists. As
soon as he acquired power however, he spat in the voters faces by appointing the
most corrupt administration in our history (almost all his administration
appointees either resigned in disgrace, were indicted on criminal charges, or
were “accidented” to death, not to mention his own endless misconduct),
encouraged ever more lobbyists (ushering in the corporate corruption scandal of
2000), and passing the highest middle class tax increase in our history (blaming
Bush 41 for misrepresenting how bad our budget really was). The Liberals ate it
all up, making endless excuses, and gleefully wiped the saliva from their faces
without even realizing it was there.
So the Leftists continuously appeal to the Liberals “good” streaks with empty
promises, and the Liberals keep voting for Leftists, hoping maybe this time
they’ll keep their promises. Meanwhile, the contradictions abound, leading to
such absurdities as blacks becoming Muslims when it was the Muslims who created
black slavery in the first place and continue it to this day; Liberals despising
God and religion but promoting Islam in our public schools; Liberals crying for
democracy yet impeding every effort to spread democracy around the world;
Liberals blocking efforts to pump domestic oil for environmental reasons thus
forcing more oil tankers on the oceans (more oil spills) and more environment to
be destroyed globally due to far inferior oil drilling practices and technology;
Liberals screaming for more to be done against terrorism while hamstringing our
intelligence and law enforcement services along with our military. The list goes
on. And on. And on…
