Humprey's Heirs

Something in the real news today reminded me of that icon of blind, liberal idiocy, Hubert Humphrey. Can you picture his moonish, sagging moronic visage without chuckling, giggling, gagging, puking? When Ted Kennedy goes before that cosmic tribunal to determine the bumbling, stumbling, ridiculous buffoon and all around clownish fool of all political history, the shadow of Hubert Humphrey will be looming large over his shoulder. Only Humphrey’s failure to kill a young woman might cost him the crown.

Anyway, a disgusting act of political buffoonery from two Pennsylvania politicos brought back a memory of ole Hubert like a double shot of Jack can bring back your lunch.

Remember the innocent and reasonable seeming Civil Rights Act of 1964 and concerns raised by people of some modicum of intelligence of the obvious and inevitable possibilities of abuse? Here is what doofus #1 had to say:

Hubert Humphrey (D-Minn.) insisted that, "Contrary to the allegations of some opponents of this title, there is nothing in it that will give any power to the commission [EEOC] or to any court to require hiring, firing, or promoting of employees in order to meet a racial 'quota' or to achieve a certain racial balance."

Ha ha haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! Hey Hubie! Can you hear me down there in hell, with Karl Marx’s dick down your lying throat? Well, FUCK YOU!

Debating Sen. Robertson (D-Va.), Humphrey said:

"If the Senator can find in title VII - which starts on page 27, line 21, and goes all the way through page 50, line 25 - any language which provides that an employer will have to hire on the basis of percentage or quota related to color, race, religion, or national origin, I will start eating the pages one after another, because it is not in there."

As we know, the bill was passed, and America has been torn apart, and racism has been institutionalized in something called affirmative action and may Hubert Humphrey be rotting in hell at this very moment eating page after page of federal regulations for all eternity alongside all of the other idiots who have served in our government who had no clue what government is.

What brings the late unlamented Hubert to mind is a current case in Pennsylvania where some Christians are threatened with up to 47 years in prison for the crime of…are you ready… SPEECH!

Yes, fighting for the Hubert Humphrey Award of most obtuse, ignorant and just plain evil politician of the new century, we have two contestants out of Pennsylvania - Rep. Mark Cohen, a Democrat from Philadelphia County and Rep. Steven Nickol, a York County Republican.

In November 2002, the Pennsylvania Legislature changed the hate-crimes law, adding "actual or perceived sexual orientation" and "gender or gender identity" to discrimination statutes. It was obvious to anyone with any common sense that this would criminalize criticism of sodomy. And does anyone on Earth know what "gender identity" means???

Look at what these two enemies of America had to say:

1. Rep. Mark Cohen, a Democrat from Philadelphia County,: "Mr. Speaker, it seems to me that imaginations are running rather freely in this debate by opponents of this bill. This bill is not – is not – about calling names. This bill is about breaking bones and causing serious injury or death. This bill is not about what ministers or Sunday School teachers say. This bill is about what thugs, hooligans and murderers do. This bill is not about jokes that are offensive or tasteless. This bill is about blood in the streets."

2. Rep. Steven Nickol, a York County Republican, said, "So I think it pretty well speaks to the fact that what we are doing here is not outlawing fighting words or outlawing ethnic slurs or doing anything of that nature. What we are dealing with here are actual crimes committed against someone, not words.

So, at a parade of deviates in an event called “Outfest” some Christians simply showed up with placards. After a confrontation with a group called the Pink Angels, described by protesters as "a militant mob of homosexuals," the Christians were arrested and spent a night in jail.

Eight charges were filed: criminal conspiracy, possession of instruments of crime, reckless endangerment of another person, ethnic intimidation, riot, failure to disperse, disorderly conduct and obstructing highways.

None of the Pink Angels was cited or arrested.

After a preliminary hearing in December, Judge William Austin Meehan ordered four of the Christians to stand trial on three felony and five misdemeanor charges. If convicted, they could each get a maximum of 47 years in prison. One female teenage protester faces charges in the juvenile justice system.

The ethnic intimidation charge stems from the exact statute that these lying, fascist scumbags, Cohen and Nickol said would never apply to speech! Hopefully, Hubert Humphrey will soon have assistance in Hell from the reprehensible filth, Cohen and Nickol, chowing down on those innocent, amicable statutes that they champion to the detriment of our freedoms.

One thing you can count on – a state that put the corrupt gangster Ed Rendel in the governor’s seat and wanted the vile, Marxist John Kerry in the White House, will never wake up to the disease in their midst personified by these two SWINE!
