If you need any further evidence of PC insanity in academia, now that CU is going to pay the fraud and plagiarizer, psycho-Ward Churchill to go away, rather than rewarding this nutcase with the ignominious firing he so richly deserves, all you need to do is imbibe the words of a true PC nutcase, Dean Susanne Dumbleton of DePaul University, in firing a man who disagreed with some student activists.
The CU professor, Churchill, who is being bought off with millions of dollars of taxpayer monies has called normal Americans, who were slaughtered by Islamo-Fascists, Nazis. He also calls for the extermination of America. The entire Leftist academy has risen up in his defense.
Thomas Klocek, a part-time adjunct professor at DePaul University, merely argued with some Jew-hating, Islamo-Fascists. He did not call them Nazis, although they are. He did not call for anyone to be killed like Ward Churchill has. He did not call for violence like Churchill has. He just strongly debated a point of view with some folks who also strongly promote a point of view – a violent, extreme, radical point of view. He is being fired. The members of academe, those defenders of academic freedom and free speech, are totally silent.
The icing on this shitcake is the words of the DePaul dean, Dumbleton in commiserating with the poor, beleaguered little Nazis; try not to puke now:
“I sincerely regret the assault on their dignity, their beliefs, their individual selves, and I continue to be saddened by the fact that they have experienced such pain at the hands of someone taught at my school, which has defined commitment to social justice as one of its core values.”
This maniac, Dumbleton, actually believes that people who have made it their life’s mission to agitate, scream and demand the extermination of an entire race are so frail that they experienced “such pain” at being debated on their beliefs! This mildly delivered, dissenting view from their noxious demagoguery is an “assault!” Their, “individual selves” had their dignity diminished. She is saddened. This school is committed to “social justice” (always a euphemism for Marxism).
Do you think that Dumbleton would have fired Ward Churchill so quickly? Didn’t he assault the “dignity”, “beliefs” and “individual selves” of the 9/11 murdered and their families? Did they not experience “such pain” at Churchill’s words? Perhaps a tad more pain than these ignorant spoiled brats, who are promoting the suicide bombing of innocents, experienced at the horrifying specter of free speech and debate?
We will never know, since Churchill was not a professor at DePaul. I will leave it up to you whether Churchill’s words would have “saddened” the foul, vicious little Marxist, Madame Dumbleton, in the least.
The real lesson of this episode is that it demonstrates, in one story, the axis of the enemy in America today; the Nazis, the Communists, the Islamo-Fascists and the academy. All are now working indefatigably to shut down dissent and debate in their thirst for the downfall of freedom, liberty and this nation upon which these cherished goals depend.
More on campus hypocrisy and Churchill.
