I don't often post headlines on this site, but this is a pivotal moment in American politics. The loathsome Democrat Party has officially fallen off the Left edge of the planet. As the moderate, liberal, Joe Lieberman is forced to run as an independent, so will more and more moderate democrats be forced into alternate parties as the years unfold. Some will become Republicans, as the current Republican Party is indistinguishable from Kennedy democrats. This will spur an increase in the ranks of the Conservative Party to the right as normal Americans flee the current, and ever more liberal Republicans. We are seeing the beginnings of the shedding of Leftism in America. Just as some chemicals will absorb an infection, so has the Democrat Party done us the great favor of absorbing the infection of Marxism and Nazi appeasement in the American populace. Now that it has all flowed there, we can jettison it. And it will be jettisoned. We will have two new dominant parties - the liberal Republicans and the Conservatives, exactly like the two parties we had at the time of American greatness - the former Democrats and Republicans.
Of course, this George Soros, Leftist vermin will not go away quietly. As they lose the support of the electorate and the associated political power, the Left here will do what the Left everywhere does. They will riot in the streets. They will form secret terrorist militias. They will boycott and march and disrupt and damage and vandalize and destroy. They will merge with other disaffected "victims" groups like the Mexican invaders and the imbedded Islamo-Nazis to tear down the fabric of this nation in every manner conceivable and some unimagined.
The only question - the huge question - for the sake of our posterity and the entire project of the advancement of human civilization from despotism and slavery, toward individual liberty, is this - has America become too sickened by the welfare state policies of FDR and the socialist experiments of LBJ and the liberal democrats, over the last 70 years to muster a population that has the historical knowledge and cultural will to fight this battle.
Will it be David and Goliath with good triumphing over the massive forces of evil, or Sodom and Gomorrah with a depraved and degraded welfare state society, sapped of moral clarity succumbing to the forces of evil?
I know that good will prevail. I am greatly cheered by the end of the Democrat Party as an influential part of American politics and firmly believe that this is the first step toward national redemption and another tiny nail in the coffin of the tyrants of today and the would-be despots of tomorrow.
