 Stan Lee,
I grew up in the '60s reading Marvel Comics.  We used to make fun of the
other comics with their thin characterizations and reworked plots.  There
was a real love for the fans from you and Jack Kirby and the rest.

As soon as I got my allowance on Sunday, I would get a stack of Marvels
and  sit and read them in the park.  It was the highlight of my week.

I still have a tremendous collection of those books.  They sit on
bookshelves in my living room, not in boxes in the attic.

My friends and I learned some profound and lasting lessons about life from
Sergeant Fury and Mr. Fantastic and Spiderman.  We leaned about decency,
honor, patriotism, duty and the treasure of freedom and liberty.

It breaks my heart to see you fawning and cavorting with such a despicable
human being as Mr. Clinton; a man who has debased every single principle
espoused by the heroes created by Marvel.  Why would you proclaim this
creature as a superhero?  He has cheated and betrayed everyone.  He has
treated our founding documents with contempt.  He has sold our security
and the most dangerous knowledge ever known to mankind to butchers and
 criminals for cold green cash.

Dum Dum Dugan would fill a loathsome little tyrant like this with hot
screaming lead.  The Surfer would feed him to Galacticus.  But their
 creator grovels at Clinton's feet.

I know that you used to cherish American beliefs of truth, personal
responsibility, integrity and honor.  You could not have written as you did
without these beliefs.  You also could not have experienced the success
that you have if you did not live in a nation that held these beliefs as a
part of the national culture.  So, why are you championing the enemy of
 all of these things?

It breaks my heart.  'Nuff said.
